Feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from yourself?
You might notice your body feeling tense, your thoughts racing, or a sense that something isn’t quite right. You may have tried to make sense of it all, but nothing seems to shift.
I offer body-based psychotherapy as a trainee therapist. Together, we explore what’s happening in your body and mind, gently helping you feel more steady and connected.
Many people come to therapy noticing things like:
- Your mind doesn’t switch off, even when you want it to
- You feel on edge, tense, or unsettled in your body
- Emotions feel overwhelming or sometimes hard to access at all
- You notice patterns in relationships that you don’t fully understand
- You’re trying to “figure things out,” but it doesn’t seem to shift how you feel
These experiences can feel confusing, exhausting, or isolating. You are not alone, and you don’t have to manage them by yourself.
How I can help
In our sessions, we slow things down. Rather than trying to immediately fix or analyse everything, we begin by noticing what is happening in your body and mind in the moment.
This approach can help you to:
- Understand your emotional responses more clearly
- Feel less overwhelmed or stuck
- Build a more steady, supportive relationship with yourself
- Respond to situations with more choice, rather than reacting automatically
Over time, this can create space for change to happen naturally and feel more sustainable.
How Sessions Work
- 1:1 sessions, online or in-person if applicable
- 50 minutes
- Weekly or fortnightly
I offer a calm, confidential space where you can explore whatever feels important at your own pace.

My Training And Approach
I am a psychotherapist in training, working with a body-based (somatic) approach.
- I am currently training at the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education
- I work under regular clinical supervision
- I follow a professional ethical framework
Being in training means the work is deeply reflected on and supported. You do not need to have the right words, or even know where to start.
A More Personal Note
I know how confusing it can feel when your body reacts strongly, and you are not sure why. For many people, these patterns have developed over time for good reasons.
Part of the work is gently understanding these patterns, rather than fighting them. I create a space where you can explore safely, at your own pace, and begin to reconnect with yourself.
What's next?

We can arrange a short, no-pressure call to see if working together feels right for you.
